A returning resident, “Alison”, came to us from a recent hospitalization and was able to go back home after a one-month stay with us.

“Ben” came from a locked facility. He has been a model resident with no hospitalizations and a member of our family for 14 years.

“Carol” transferred from another facility to be closer to her family. She stayed for 10 months and is now living independently in her own apartment. She attends our Aftercare Program weekly.

“Dean” came from a locked facility, still having psychotic symptoms. He recovered after 3 years and lives independently in his own apartment for the first time.

“Ellen” happily returned home after a 6-month stay.

A family member brought “Fritz” to our program to get help with a psychotic depression. He recovered in 1-1/2 years and moved into his own apartment.

”Grace” arrived from a locked facility and stayed for 1 year. She is now living out of state with a family member.

“Henry” came from the hospital and after 2 months transferred to a setting with less supervision and more independence.

Most residents may have family contact after being in our program for 30 days. During this introductory period, a resident will become familiar with our program as we evaluate and put together an individualized treatment plan.

We follow all of State Licensing guidelines regarding medications. Medications are kept in a locked area and dispensed as prescribed by their doctor. Some residents may take their own medication with written approval by their prescribing doctor.

All residents have an individualized treatment plan as a guideline for their daily activities. The structure of the day is geared toward their short term, mid-term and long term goals.

A particular strength of our staff is keeping a balance between program participation and independent activities.
